I’m a photojournalist from Bulgaria, based in Antwerp, with a nomadic spirit and a passion for storytelling.

Telling human stories across borders, through image and insight.

I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, on March 10, marking the beginning of a life shaped by curiosity and a passion for storytelling. My move to Antwerp, Belgium, opened my eyes to the richness of other cultures and deepened my understanding of the world. Yet, my heart remains tied to Bulgaria. Though I feel most alive and at home in Istanbul.

At 15, I bought my first camera, and a storyteller was born. That camera became my tool for capturing the emotions, struggles, and resilience of people. Today, as a photojournalist with a nomadic spirit, I dedicate myself to documenting the untold stories of those whose voices often go unheard.

Through my lens, I aim to make an impact, one story at a time.

  • I love tradition

    Being half Bulgarian half Turkish, I grew up with both cultures and traditions, setting the foundation of my curiosity for other cultures. But also my tolerance and love for other cultures and religions.

  • I love traveling

    I love to travel and explore different cultures, meet new people and learn about the history of everything that came before us. My heart however, is forever in Istanbul and Sofia.

  • I can work from anywhere

    I am always on the road, whether I’m traveling to another country or just getting involved in my own neighborhood. One thing I always have on me is my camera.

  • I love learning languages

    I’ve always had a passion for languages. From self-study to evening courses, over the years I’ve been regularly learning languages and today I speak Bulgarian, English, Dutch, French, Spanish, Turkish and some German and Japanese. But I am not finished.
