July 20, 2025, Istanbul, Türkiye

I’m a photojournalist from Bulgaria, based in Türkiye, with a nomadic spirit and a passion for storytelling.

Telling human stories across borders, through image and insight.

Born on March 10 in Sofia, Bulgaria, I grew up as a curious child, always eager to learn, know, and see more.

At the age of 10, my family and I moved to Antwerp, Belgium, where I encountered diversity for the first time, further fueling my interest in other cultures. In high school, I developed a strong interest in geopolitics, and shaped by my own experience with migration, I couldn’t ignore the stories of others. Studying journalism in college deepened my understanding of the world, as my passion for storytelling took form through photography and documentary filmmaking.

After college, at 22, I followed my heart and moved to Türkiye. For eight months, I volunteered as an English teacher in a kindergarten in Şanlıurfa, a predominantly Kurdish region bordering Syria. There, I continued capturing the emotions, struggles, and resilience of people.

As a photojournalist with a nomadic spirit, I dedicate myself to documenting untold stories and amplifying voices that often go unheard.
