What started as a small initiative to help the locals of some of Peru’s poorest villages, turned into a solid organization transforming the lives of children and families in Peru. This is Chico Latino, a Belgian initiative changing currents in Peruvian rivers.
My work for the StandBye Bourla project. Previously called ‘ByeBye Bourla’, ‘StandBye Bourla’ is a project by the Bourla theater in Antwerp to highlight the pieces and artists of the theater as they prepare to move to another location as part of the major renovations that the theater will undergo, forcing it to close its doors for some time.
My interview with Aïssatou Cissé, Governor of Borgherhout, a district in Antwerp known for its diversity and involved citizens. Aïssatou has a mission; to make real change. After advocation for different social issues, she decides to take matters into her own hands.
SANAD is a short portrait documentary about Sanad Latifa, a photojournalist from Gaza. His photos have been featured in major international media such as AlJazeera, AFP and more. Sanad comes from Khan Younes and had to leave his family and his country after receiving phone calls from the Israeli Occupation Forces threatening him for photographing the occupation of Palestinians in Occupied Palestine. Today he lives in Belgium, where he continues photographing protests and events for major Belgian newspaper De Morgen.
