These Tibetan children celebrate Dalai Lama’s birthday in Antwerp, Belgium. This event touched me. They too, have migrated here and are trying to preserve their traditions and teach their children their culture. A very important task, that becomes harder when you have to move away from your homeland. By photographing these children, I felt like I tapped into their culture for a minute. Which made me feel like I was in a different world, a magical one.

These young and bright children showcase their regional folkore costumes at the Diwali festival in Brussels as they mark the beginning of the Diwali celebrations. India’s rich and colorful culture showcased by the most important part of society, the next generation, the children. Children in traditional attire is perhaps my favorite thing to photograph in the ‘people’ genre.

You might have noticed by now that I love traveling, exploring different countries and cultures and children. But I also enjoy a walk in the city I live in, Antwerp. I always bring my camera on my walks in Antwerp and this is the result, humans of Antwerp.
