As an animal lover, I am simply mesmerized watching animals just exist. Everything about them amazes me and reminds me how much of a wonder life is. They’re such an imperfectly perfect creation, every single one of them, with all of their colors, noises and looks.

A crab, shot in Greece, at the Agia Varvara waterfall in Stavros. I love the color of this little bud and how it matches the rock he’s sitting on. It’s like animals are an extension of Earth.

My wildlife gallery mostly consists of cats, since I love them so much and am always chasing one on the streets to photograph it. Their elegance, beauty and mystery are exactly what attracts me and my camera.

Perhaps what I like most is when I get a good shot of an animal, that is usually hard to photograph. Such is the case with this salamander, when you see it. This is perhaps one of the most fun parts of photography, that feeling of satisfaction you feel when you make a great, clear shot.
