Belgian-Moroccans gathered in front of the government building to hold one minute of silence for the victims of the devastating earthquakes in Morocco earlier that month. The governor and important figures from the Moroccan community were present and expressed their concern and support for the families of the victims. The governor announced an aid package of 20 000 euros.
