Thousands of Bulgarians marched through Sofia in the annual March for the Traditional Family. the march, which takes place on the day of Sofia Pride, is a protest movement against the Pride movement, aimed at preserving the traditional values and nuclear family structures. The two events take place on the same day but in opposite corners of the city and proceed peacefully each year. Showcasing respect for each other and tolerance towards other movements.

In this march, many protesters wear traditional Bulgarian attire and play the Gaida, a Bulgarian instrument as they sing Bulgarian songs. At the front of the march and leading the march are the Patriarch of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and other priests from all over the city/country.
